GB Energy makes debut £50m move in Scots floating wind joined by NWF & SNIB

A major floating offshore wind project off the Scottish coast has secured up to £150 million in public backing marking the first investment by Great British Energy. The 100MW Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm near Dounreay will receive support from three state-backed institutions in a move aimed at accelerating the UK’s emerging floating wind sector.
