AI Data Centre edges out BP’s hydrogen plant at UK hub

Embattled oil and gas major BP has formally withdrawn its application to build a hydrogen hub in the UK, citing incompatibility with proposals for an AI Data Centre at the site and a slower-than-expected uptick in demand for the output of the development.
