Vattenfall starts work on Germany’s largest offshore wind farm, conditional FID for sister project

Swedish state-owned utility Vattenfall, today [25 March 2025], announced plans to commence construction of the 980MW Nordlicht 1 offshore wind farm, to be located in German waters, in 2026. It also made a conditional final investment decision (FID) on the 630MW Nordlicht 2.
