Head of Content
Viola is responsible for setting inspiratia’s editorial agenda and coordinating content output across the company.
A journo at heart, she has been covering energy and infrastructure for the past seven years.
When she is not busy tending to her two little ones (when?!), she loves swimming, doing yoga and singing – mostly when nobody’s listening. For now.
Maya is responsible for coordinating inspiratia’s daily news coverage and assisting the head of content.
A B2C journo lured into B2B, she has been covering the renewables and infrastructure space for the past four years.
When not shackled to the desk, she enjoys horse riding, rock climbing and dancing.
Oliver leads our analysis team in conducting in-depth research on the cutting edge of the energy transition, with a particular interest in new and emerging technology.
He is also responsible for creating and hosting inspiratia’s insightful weekly podcast series.
Oliver holds a master’s in renewable energy engineering from Brunel and a bachelor’s in physics from Durham.
He is a keen political observer who harbours a passion for singing and the theatre.
Zachary supports the coverage of the renewable and infrastructure sector, writing news and feature articles and conducting varied Q & As on the wind, solar and clean energy sectors.
Senior Analyst - Digital & Sustainable Infrastructure
Dila is our senior analyst covering the sustainable and digital infrastructure sector, which includes battery storage, EVs, data centres, and other technologies contributing to the energy transition.
With a background in political science gained from transatlantic institutions, she has applied her knowledge to market research in supply chain structures/risk and the global political economy.
If she isn't on the hunt for exceptionally good desserts, she is probably enjoying political dramas/documentaries or history books, and looking for hidden antique shops that honour past beauties.
Ash supports the coverage of the renewable and infrastructure sector, writing news and Q&As on funds, solar, onshore wind and battery storage.
He graduated from the University of the Arts London with a Bachelors' in Journalism and previously worked at the science and energy desk at the Daily Express.
Hobbies include cooking, reading, and training in escrima, a Filipino stick-fighting martial art.
Aishwarya is one of inspiratia’s reporters.
She enjoys delving into the fascinating realms of energy transition, hydrogen technologies, and energy efficiency solutions.
She has a background in human rights and feminist rights. Her goal is to make the world a better place through sustainable energy.
Head of Data and Product
Vikas leads the data team and plays a pivotal role in managing the core products at Inspiratia.
He strives to provide valuable data and insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
Having pursued further studies in Data Science, Vikas holds a BSc in Computer Science from Brunel University.
Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, practicing yoga, and playing football and cricket.
Additionally, Vikas is passionate about cooking, baking, and exploring different cultures.
Edvinas maintains and perfects inspiratia's IT infrastructure with vast experience in cutting edge web technology.
He is dedicated on best browsing experience for inspiratia's clients and new tools for the crew. Edvinas is passionate about finding new frontiers in computer science and at the moment is experimenting with machine learning and data mining algorithms.
Ashley is a data analyst who manages the flow of new and existing projects in Inspiratia's proprietary database.
Ashley has an academic background in politics and economics and pivoted to a data science career during the pandemic.
His hobbies include football, formula one and mountain biking.
COMMERCIAL, MARKETING AND DEVELOPMENT
Charlie has made the recent crossover to the renewables sector following over 10 years within Commodity Finance during which he worked across Agri, Metals, Oil & Gas and finally as a Head of Commodities.
Charlie leads the Commercial activity at inspiratia including both events and subscriptions and maintains a close link between Sales and Content.
Outside of work Charlie enjoys Rugby, Football and Athletics and before injuries took over played a bit!
Ella Van Niekerk
Business Development Manager
Ella is the Business Development Manager at inspiratia.
With 3 years of client management experience, her work is mainly focused around inspiratia's energy transition events and creating long-lasting relationships with leading firms and commercial organisations.
Client Success Manager
Selina works closely with our commercial and marketing team and is a key point of contact for our prospective and existing clients.
She is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business objectives and managing our client's expectations.
She has recently graduated from Brunel University London with a BSc in Economics and Management.
Outside of work, her hobbies include painting, travelling, and finding the best food spots around London.
Head of Marketing
Trishla brings over six years of valuable experience in the dynamic field of digital marketing, with expertise across both B2B and B2C sectors.
For the past year, she has been a pivotal force at inspiratia, spearheading our digital strategy.
An interesting tidbit about Trishla is her proficiency in the martial art of Karate.
Cara is currently on her year in industry from university of Liverpool, where she studies business management.
This year Cara is joining our marketing team to gain experience and broaden her knowledge.
Cara enjoys exploring London, finding nice places to eat and travelling to different countries.
OPERATIONS AND EVENTS
Director of Finance & Resources
Magda oversees inspiratia’s finances and human resources.
Before joining in 2015, she had gained previous experiences in Healthcare and Education sectors.
Magda is a keen cook that specializes in Brazilian cuisine.
She is a huge science fiction and football fan (#Fluminense) that loves cinema classics, literature and art.
Head of Production
Elsa connects the dots in the world of the energy transition by crafting creative content for c-level stakeholders and government agencies across Europe.
Elsa focus on asking questions, collaborating with my team and network to deliver thought-provoking discussions that highlight notable developments within the energy transition.
Outside of work, you can find Elsa challenging herself at CrossFit, embarking on culinary adventures with friends, and staying agile on the volleyball court! Fun fact!
Head of Operations
Loredana leads Inspiratia’s Operations, overseeing its administration and holding overall responsibility for the planning and delivery of all operational aspects of our in-house events.
Before joining Inspiratia, Loredana has worked across both hospitality and retail/fashion sectors.
She speaks three languages and outside of the office, she enjoys reading through her backlog of books, watching classic movies and travelling.
Office Manager & Events Assistant
Alba works side by side with the Operations & Events team providing administrative support across a range of areas including office management, events, and general admin duties.
Before joining inspiratia, Alba has worked as a journalist covering a broad range of topics from politics to beauty and fashion across both print and online magazines.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, travelling, doing some yoga, and trying to not overwater her indoor plants.
Marco is an investor, adviser, developer, author and professor with 36 years’ of experience in the energy sector. Since 1997 he has focused on renewable energy, sustainability and the energy transition.
He co-founded inspiratia in 2010 together with Nickolas Imregi and today chairs the company.
In 1997 they co-founded Infrastructure Journal (now IJ Global) and sold it in 2007.
He is the co-founder and CIO of UK-based distributed green hydrogen company Protium.
Marco is a Senior Adjunct Professor of Energy, Resources and Environment at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies where he teaches at the Bologna campus in Italy. He also serves on the SAIS Europe Advisory Council.
Nick is responsible for leading the strategic direction for inspiratia and has been instrumental in the rebranding and repositioning of inspiratia as the ‘Energy Transition Specialist’.
He has worked and built long lasting relationships within the energy and project finance throughout his career and has led teams across all business intelligence products as well as industry leading events.
Nick places huge importance on company values and culture and continues to create an environment where the team can fulfil their true potential.
Nick co-founded inspiratia with Marco Dell’Aquila in 2010 to fill the gap in the market for an infrastructure and renewables service producing breadth and depth of content underpinned by data-driven analysis.
He is responsible for driving inspiratia's commercial strategy.
Nick’s early career was in publishing working across the financial services, infrastructure and energy sectors before he co-founded Infrastructure Journal in 1997.
