Trump’s administration scraps offshore wind leasing schedule

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), under the guidance of President Donald Trump’s administration, has today [4 April 2025] agreed to scrap previous legislation which required the government to update its seabed leasing and tender strategy every two years.
