Swedish municipality approves first wind farm

Gävle Municipality has granted planning consent to Vindr's Energipark Hamrånge, clearing the key political hurdle for a 15-turbine, 365GWh onshore wind project that would be the first ever built in a municipality with no existing wind power generation.
