RWE has received Australian federal environmental approval under the EPBC Act for its 1.1GW, A$3 billion (£1.56bn €1.84bn) Theodore wind farm and battery project in Queensland's Banana Shire, with construction expected to start in 2027 subject to a final investment decision.
