RWE “pauses” works on 4.6GW US offshore wind portfolio, on the fence on total exit

German renewables giant RWE has stopped works on its 4.6GW US offshore wind portfolio, but stops shy of confirming total exit from the market like industry peers bp and Ocean Winds, both of which have begged off large developments in the country, citing “challenging market conditions”.
