LS Power acquires bp’s 1.7GW US onshore wind portfolio

US utility LS Power has agreed to acquire oil & gas major bp’s 1.7GW operational onshore wind portfolio in a deal understood to be valued at around $1.5 billion (£1.12bn €1.29bn).
