Germany halts 2026 offshore wind auctions

Germany has approved a cabinet level amendment to suspend all offshore wind auctions in 2026, postponing the 2.5GW N 10.1 and N 10.2 North Sea tender to 2027 as grid connection delays and rising project risks prompt a rethink of the auction framework.
