Sumitomo backs out of 1GW Estonian offshore JV only months after signing deal

Sumitomo Group, a Japanese business group, has ended its offshore wind partnership with Enefit Green, an Estonian renewable energy company, only 6 months after the deal was initially signed.
A spokesperson for Enefit Green confirmed to inspiratia that Enefit will now assume total ownership of the project.
