ENGIE doubles German wind capacity with 212MW acquisition

ENGIE has doubled its onshore wind portfolio in Germany with the acquisition of a 212MW ready-to-build project in Bad Berleburg, North Rhine-Westphalia. The project, located around 100 kilometres east of Dortmund, was developed by Paderborn-based WestfalenWIND Group and marks a major step in ENGIE’s renewable expansion strategy in the country.
