EBRD backs Egypt’s first solar and battery storage project

Scatec, a Norwegian renewable energy company, has started construction of its 1.1GW Obelisk solar project in Nagaa Hammadi, Egypt with backing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
