Spain boosts clean energy repowering with €512m provisional awards for wind and hydro

Spain’s energy agency IDAE has provisionally allocated €512 million (£442m $596m) to 149 wind and small hydro repowering projects across Spain under the REPOTEN 2 programme, after expanding the budget in May to accelerate renewable upgrades backed by EU recovery funding.
