Polish development fund mulls ORLEN, Synthos tie up for SMR nuclear rollout

Polish development fund PFR (Polski Fundusz Rozwoju) is reportedly engaged in negotiations to join the ORLEN, Synthos partnership with the aim of expediting the delivery of the first small modular reactor (SMR) in Poland. The rumours follow drawn-out negotiations between ORLEN and Synthos over the role of each of the entities within the 50/50 joint venture.
