Ocean Winds secures final Celtic Sea floating wind site

The Crown Estate has awarded Ocean Winds the rights to develop the third and final floating offshore wind site in the Celtic Sea, completing the Round 5 leasing process. The award brings the total capacity of the round to 4.5GW, with Ocean Winds joining Equinor and Gwynt Glas in delivering some of the world’s largest commercial-scale floating wind projects.
