No relief for Ørsted as UK Supreme Court rules against wind farm tax claims

The UK Supreme Court has ruled that Ørsted's pre-construction survey costs for four offshore wind farms do not qualify for capital allowances, settling a years-long dispute with HMRC and raising the effective tax cost of developing renewable energy infrastructure in the UK.
