Statkraft files for Norway's first repowering licence

Statkraft has filed Norway's first licence application to repower an existing wind farm, targeting a near doubling of output at its 55MW Hitra 1 site in Trøndelag, with 12 to 15 modern turbines expected to deliver around 250GWh per year by 2030.
