Germany opens 2.97GW of renewable energy auctions with bids due May 2026

Germany's Federal Network Agency has launched two renewable energy auctions targeting a combined 2.97GW of onshore wind and hybrid innovation capacity, with a bid deadline of 4 May 2026 and maximum prices set at €72.50/MWh and €71.30/MWh respectively.
