European Energy Transition Awards 2026: The biggest edition yet

inspiratia is proud to announce the return of the European Energy Transition Awards in 2026, the largest edition in the programme's history, with an expanded slate of categories built to reflect how rapidly Europe's energy transition market has evolved.

The awards will be held on 24 November at Nobu London Portman Square, recognising excellence across the full breadth of the sector.

Responding to a changing market

The energy transition is no longer defined by a handful of established technologies and deal structures. Capital is flowing into new areas, specialist expertise is deepening, and the range of firms shaping the market has widened considerably.

This year we have broadened recognition across technology-specific advisory and lending, with dedicated wind, solar, energy storage and new technologies categories, reflecting how specialised the market has become. Energy storage also moves to centre stage, reflecting how central it has become to the transition.

Introducing Market Enabler of the Year

New to the programme this year, Market Enabler of the Year recognises the specialist firms whose services help Europe's energy transition market function, grow and overcome every barrier. It celebrates organisations that have made a meaningful difference to transactions, projects or wider market developments: the specialist advisers, platforms and service providers whose contribution is often decisive but rarely spotlighted. As the market has matured, so too has the ecosystem supporting it; this category exists to recognise that the transition is enabled by a growing network of expert providers.
