Germany to take €7.6bn stake in TenneT Germany

The German government is preparing to take a stake in transmission system operator (TSO) TenneT Germany worth around €7.6 billion (£6.7bn $8.8bn), according to local news. The planned investment, to be channelled through state development bank KfW, aims to secure long-term financing for grid expansion and strengthen Germany’s control over critical energy infrastructure.
