Rolls-Royce beats GE Vernova for Swedish nuclear mandate

UK’s Rolls-Royce has, this week [15 June 2026], been awarded the nuclear reactor supply contract for the 1.5GW small modular reactor (SMR) capacity being planned in Sweden, edging out industry peer GE Vernova.
