Staying competitive in the Portuguese market
About the Event
Staying Competitive in the Portuguese Renewables Market" is the theme of the conference that will take place on June 7th, 3PM, at the Hotel Pestana - Pousada de Lisboa, in Praça do Comércio.
At a time when Europe is setting goals for achieving greater independence in energy production, it is urgent to analyze the Portuguese market's growing commitment to renewable energies and establish what may be done to improve the sector, which has already seen remarkable development. The transition to renewables is the only solution that will allow a sustainable future and self-sufficiency to face the dilemmas arising from new social contexts. This event aims to debate crucial issues, such as the best practices in financing new projects in Portugal and the way they can be implemented while maintaining a pleasing relationship with local communities.
The conference will be launched by the Secretary of State for Environment and Energy, João Galamba, followed by multiple panels of national and international experts in the so-called clean energy sector, that aim to foster economic growth, increase qualified and scientific employment and promote decarbonization and technological innovation. Among the represented companies are Aquila, E-Redes, Chint Solar, FF Ventures, Q Cells, Smartenergy and Voltalia.
Glennmont Partners, which recently launched BNZ Energy - Independent Power Producer (IPP), is the promoter of this event in partnership with Amarenco, Sérvulo & Associados and Triple Watt.
