European and North American onshore wind markets have seen consistent deal flow in the opening months of 2026. Ørsted's €1.44 billion (£1.25bn $1.68bn) exit to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) was the headline transaction, while merchant bridge loans in Poland, blended finance in Ukraine, and Contracts for Difference (CfD)-backed closes in Scotland filled out a market active across the full risk spectrum.
