In this week's episode of Energy Transition Today, we track the flow of capital, the rising power needs of data centres, and the offshore push into floating wind.

We begin with funds, where Gresham House has refinanced £240 million to cut debt costs and expand its UK battery storage pipeline. Sosteneo has closed its debut fund at €620 million while launching a €1 billion successor, and Nuveen has reached a $1.3 billion first close for its latest energy infrastructure credit strategy.

The focus then shifts to data centres. Yondr lines up a 550MW campus in Texas, AirTrunk lands a record green loan in Singapore, and DayOne commits €1.2 billion to a new campus in Finland. We also pick up reporting on Vantage Data Centers, adding context on how the sector's growth is reshaping power and finance decisions.

From there we dive into nuclear, where Kairos Power has signed a 50MW PPA with Google's US data centres, while Equinix has struck long-term partnerships to back the development of small modular reactors in Europe.

Finally, floating wind in focus, with Buchan Offshore Wind filing consent applications for a 1GW Scottish scheme, Ørsted's Salamander JV securing approvals for its 100MW project, and the last turbine installed at France's Golfe du Lion.

Together, the stories highlight a sector where capital is being deployed at scale, digitalisation is driving new demand for clean firm power, and floating wind continues its march from pilot to commercial reality.
