Germany’s Federal Network Agency has awarded 2.5GW of onshore wind capacity in its 1 May 2026 tender, with the weighted-average clearing price slipping to €50.6/MWh — a fresh multi-year low — as Niedersachsen topped the regional table and bids again far outstripped the volume on offer.
