Commonwealth Fusion raises $863m in R&D funding for US fusion pilot project

Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS), a US-based fusion energy R&D firm, has announced that it has raised $863 million (£639m $740m) in its most recent Series B2 fundraising round.
